In-Person Private Voice Lessons
Lis offers private half hour or hour voice lessons at her home/studio in Sherman Oaks, CA in all pop styles: R&B, urban, pop, rock, folk, alt. rock and country. These are one-on-one lessons that focus on all the aspects of your voice – range, pitch, tone, strength, endurance, breath control, building a bridge between registers and releasing tension. In the first lesson, she will do an evaluation of your voice to determine what is working well and what needs work. Each lesson will be recorded to CD for you to practice with. You will also apply the work you’ll be doing in the exercises to singing songs. Please contact Lis, lis@thesingersworkshop.com, for rates and scheduling.
Skype Voice Lessons
For those singers who can’t take in-person lessons in Los Angeles, Lis offers webcam voice lessons. If you are touring, or can’t find a top notch teacher where you are, or if the voice teachers in your area are teaching classical or musical theater, internet voice lessons are the way to go. You can improve your range, strength and endurance and you can choose the songs you want to sing – your own originals or cover songs. Contact Lis, lis@thesingersworkshop.com, for rates and scheduling.
