I have had one of the most exhilarating and exhausting summers of my life. I haven't seen the sun, my family or friends since June because I've been the vocal coach for the CBS TV show Rock Star: Supernova.

It seems that every major city in the country has auditions for a TV talent show these days. MTV, VH1, American Idol and Star Search are just a few of the shows that hold auditions.

Some people go through life being supremely confident; they think they are awesome singers, great performers and ready for stardom. To tell you the truth, I don't think they're paying enough attention.
